On May 8, 2019, Susann Töbelmann, a lawyer from Bremen, gave a speech at the event organized jointly by the Institute of European Studies and Atatürk Faculty of Education Department of German Language Teaching. Professor . Dr. Feruzan Gündoğan from the Ataturk Faculty of Education was the chairman of the programme. At the conference, the principle of the rule of law, which is among the basic elements of the democratic system, was explained through the example of Germany. Later, the functioning of family law, the main theme of his presentation, was mentioned. The most interesting part of the presentation was the section on the intense Turkish population living in Germany and the increasing Turkish-German marriages. The participants asked questions about this topic.
