The Institute of European Studies and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department of German Language and Literature held a conference. In the conference, the academic staff and students were given detailed information about the scholarships to provide research opportunities in German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Germany. Assoc. Dr. Yasemin Balcı, the Vice-President of Department of German Language and Literature,  was the chairman of the programme.

At the conference, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Education Specialist M. Murat Kemaloğlu made a detailed presentation. Students attending the conference asked Kemaloğlu about the education system and DAAD scholarships in Germany.
