The conference which titled 'Environmental Awareness in the European Union and Turkey: TEMA' with the presentation of TEMA Foundation Board Chairman Deniz ATAÇ was take place in the scope of Europe Day on 9 May. The conference was held with the participation of students from different departments of our university and TEMA volunteers. Aytaç started her speech with TEMA’s aims and its activities.

Aytaç mentioned the importance of climate changing and emphasized relations between environmental awareness and education. She also mentioned European Union’s Environmental Policy and Turkey’s responsibilities in this process as a candidate state. The meeting ended with the questions and comments of the participants.
